After only one episode, E! has already had enough Pop Fiction. As Hollyscoop reported earlier in the week, the show is a major rip-off of the late Anna Nicole's pilot idea, and E! doesn't want to find themselves in the middle of a nasty lawsuit. They know how those Anna Nicole peeps like to get their money! Apparenly Howard K. Stern repitched the idea to the network as recently as a few months ago with Larry Birkhead slated as the host!

We'll have to see how this plays out, but E! did release this statement today in favor of Ashton:

Pop Fiction is a program independently created and developed by Ashton Kutcher's company, Katalyst. Pop Fiction is not based on any idea or concept that may have been pitched to E! by any other party."
